LaQuet Sharnell Pringle began her dance training in Dallas, Texas at the Booker T. Washington HSPVA. She also received additional training under the direction of Kim McSwain at the Dallas Powerhouse for Dance. While in HS she received numerous awards from NYCDA (National Outstanding Dancer Finalist), Co.Dance (National Teaching Assistant), Jacob's Pillow (Scholarship Recipient), Broadway Theatre Project (Scholarship Recipient and Showcase Soloist), NYU Summer Intensive (Scholarship recipient) and the National Foundation for the Arts (Honorable Mention Modern Dance, Merit Award Jazz Dance). Upon graduation from the Arts HS she went on to train at the NC School of the Arts. As an actor, she has trained with William Esper, Jennifer Monaco, Nancy Mayan, Ted Morin, Jules Helm, Anne Waxman, Akil Davis, Jane Dashow, and Johanna Pinzler. LaQuet is proud to call Mary Walkley her singing vocal teacher for the past 7 years..

As an educator she comes to AMDA after having taught at Texas State University Musical Theater department and Ballet Austin. Her choreography has been seen in multiple shows such as, The Addam's Family, Mixtape The Musical, Texas Musical Theater Workshop, Bruce Wood Dance Project, Dance Planet 19 and countless dance competitions across the country. She has worked with Nathan Trice Rituals and Houston Met Dance Company as a guest artist and master teacher.
